Lynne Sharon Schwartz’s many books of fiction, essays, and poetry include the novels Leaving Brooklyn, Disturbances in the Field, and The Writing on the Wall; story collections, most recently Referred Pain; and poetry collections, most recently No Way Out But Through. Crossing Borders, her anthology of stories and essays about translation, came out in 2018 and will be reissued in paperback this fall. She has received grants from the NEA, the Guggenheim Foundation and the NY State Foundation for the Arts. She currently teaches at the Bennington Writing Seminars.
