Laurie Lamon’s poems have appeared in journals and magazines including The Atlantic Monthly, The New Republic, Plume, Ploughshares, Arts & Letters Journal of Contemporary Culture, The Literary Review, 180 More Extraordinary Poems for Ordinary Days edited by Billy Collins, and others.
She has two poetry collections published at CavanKerry Press, The Fork Without Hunger, 2005, introduction by Donald Hall, and Without Wings, 2009. She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and was selected by Donald Hall as a Witter Bynner Fellow in 2007. I am a professor of literature and writing at at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
