Pete Duval

Pete Duval is the author of Strange Mercies (Working Titles/Massachusetts Review) and Rear View (Houghton Mifflin), which won the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference Bakeless Prize for Fiction, the Connecticut Book Award for fiction, and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. Two of his stories (“Orchard Tender” and “I, Budgie”) and an essay (“Adhesion”) have been Notable/Other Distinguished Selections in Houghton Mifflin’s Best American series. Duval lives in Philadelphia.
